Kaput

// The term Kaput is used to describe something that has become devoid of function. These two artists define the act of painting as a kind of flow in which abstract marks and forms are churned and re-churned. As such the work that results does not serve any particular function, yet its redundancy is the vessel for the potentiality of function. As contradictory as it may seem this flow has the potential to stumble, to fumble and fail but over all is a model to explore the encounter of the image. //
